Sage dominates Dolphins as they post impressive 6-0 win
Sage's Rebecca Marszalek added a pair of goals as did Nicole Killeen in the Skyline win on Tuesday.
Riverdale, NY---The Sage Colleges women's soccer team travelled to the College of Mt. St. Vincent on Tuesday afternoon for a Skyline Conference match. Sage exploded for a season-high six goals as their first conference win of the fall. Sage is now 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the league, while the Dolphins drop to 2-8 overall and 1-5 in the league. The six goals by the Gators is a season-high effort.
Sage's senior Nicole Killeen (Petersburgh, NY/Berlin Central) tallied a pair of goals in the contest, elevating her season total to five goals with an assists, good enough for a team-leading 11 points on the season.
Junior Rebecca Marszalek (Adams, MA/Hoosac Valley) chipped in with a pair of goals and an assist, giving her nine points this fall. With her performance on Tuesday, she takes sole possession of the No. 2 spot on the career goals (33) and total points in a career (72).
Sage's senior goalie, Brittany McDonald (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) tallied her second shutout on the fall after making three saves.
