Pearson named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week
New York, NY-- The Sage Colleges' women's basketball rookie guard Frankie Pearson (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosic Falls Central) was named the Skyline Conference Women's Rookie of the Week for her efforts in leading the Gators on opening weekend. The Gators finished as the Regis College Tip-Off Tournament Runners-up after a 1-1 effort.
Pearson averaged 9.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg off the bench for Sage and connected for 10 points on opening day as Sage knocked off Regis, 63-58.
The Gators will host Southern Vermont College on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in the Kahl Gym in the team's home opener.
