Coddington earned Empire 8 Performer of the Week once again in Track
Hilton, NY---RSC's men's men's track and field performer senior John Coddington was once again saluted by the Empire 8 as it's Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
Hilton, NY---RSC's men's men's track and field performer senior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) was once again honored as this week's Empire 8 men's field performer. Competing on April 21 at the University at Albany's Bobbi Plama Invitational, he won two events and broke two school records at the meet. First he won the hammer toss with a school mark of 52.49 to break his own mark of 49.49 meters. He then took a first in the shot put with a throw of 14.88 meters, breaking his previous best throw of 14.79 meters. He also added a fourth place showing in the discus to wrap his night with a toss of 39.11 meters, a season best throw for him.
