Carly Plaisance

At Sage:

• Carly Plaisance worked in 10 games as a rookie goalie on the 2018 Sage women’s lacrosse team
• She was 1-3 in net with a .422 saves percentage to go with her 14.60 goals against average.
• As a sophomore in 2019, she played in all 15 games and made 3 starts in net. She added a 16.16 GAA along the way with a 1-3 record.
• She racked up 64 saves and had a .395 saves percentage on the 2019 season.
• As a junior, she played in all three games for the 2020 Gators with one start in goal. She had a .447 saves percentage to go with her 21 saves. Plaisance added a 17.02 GAA in 92 minutes of work.
• Overall as a Gator, she has now played 28 games in goal with a 2-7 record and a .412 career saves percentage. She has made 131 career saves and has a 15.71 career GAA. She ranks fifth in career saves, while her 4.86 career saves per game is also fifth. She is fourth in career saves percentage, while standing seventh in career goals against average.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in nursing at Sage.
• She also serves as a resident assistant at Sage.
• Plaisance has also been very active with Sage’s SAAC and is a frequent participant in the Chomper’s Reading Program.  

High School:

• A graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School, Plaisance excelled in field hockey, lacrosse and dance.
• She helped to lead the team to the 2016 DI State Championship Varsity Girls Lacrosse championship and a runner-up finish in 2017. She is a record holder at MAU and was nominated for the Marble Valley League All-League Team as well as the Vermont DI Girls Lacrosse All-State Second Team.
• She was the female comeback player of the year and also nominated for the Rising Stars lacrosse team.
• Plaisance helped to lead the lacrosse team to the 2016 and 2017 MVL championship.
• An exceptional dancer, she also served as team captain during her junior and senior years.
• She was honored all four years as a Tri-Honor Athlete, while also earning induction into the National Technical Honor Society and the Dollars for Scholars Award.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Stephen and Susan Plaisance.
